Why RentR exists

RentR was created after seeing the same problem play out again and again in the Australian rental market:

Good tenants doing everything right, showing up to inspections, applying quickly, following the rules and still missing out, with no explanation.

Not because they weren’t suitable.
But because their application wasn’t presented properly.

In competitive markets, rental applications aren’t reviewed equally. They’re filtered. Quietly.

Missing information, unclear structure, or rushed submissions are often enough to remove an application from consideration, without the applicant ever knowing why. RentR exists to stop that from happening.



RentR was founded by Brian Mullen, a relocation professional who has worked closely with renters, property managers, and relocation clients navigating competitive housing markets.

Through this work, Brian saw firsthand how often good tenants were overlooked, not due to suitability, but due to avoidable application mistakes and lack of structure.

RentR was built to bring clarity, preparation, and professionalism into a process that often feels chaotic and opaque for renters.
